BIXBY, Okla. — A 29-year-old teacher at Bixby High School is accused of having a relationship with an 18-year-old student, according to court documents.
Court documents said in early January, Bixby police were notified of the situation.
A witness said that the teacher, Jill Arthur, had gone to the movies with the student on Dec. 26, and afterward, the two had kissed. The student said that nothing else happened between them other than the kiss.
The relationship started after the two had exchanged numbers, documents said.
Prosecutors are seeking a charge of sexual battery by a state employee against Arthur.
