BIXBY, Okla. — No one was injured after a Bixby family's home was struck by lightning early Wednesday morning.
The home, near 125th and Mingo, was struck around 6 a.m. as storms rolled through the area.
A husband, wife and two children were inside the home when it happened. They said they heard a big boom and smelled something, but didn't know where it was coming from. Once they realized what happened, they were able to get out of the home.
The family is getting everything that can be salvaged out of the home.
