Tonight many are lined up at the BOK Center for the Shawn Mendes concert.

One young woman, who some say is his number one fan, got the chance to meet him in person.

Alexis Finley, or Lexi, is a 19-year-old girl with down syndrome.

For the past two years Lexi has attached a paper to her high school work stating her love for Shawn Mendes.

She was this years homecoming queen at Bixby High School.

Scott Finley, Lexi's dad, says that she is always comforting to everyone she meets, "you're watching a movie, or whether you're upset at something or frustrated; she's on you immediately, she's patting you and telling you it's okay, she wants everything to be good".

Her family bought her concert tickets months ago but when they found out there was a possibility for a meet and greet, they knew they had to make her dream come true.

Luckily they were able to get Lexi a chance to meet him and she couldn't be more excited.

Scott tells us “I think it’s blown her mind, its going to blow her mind when she gets to meet him. She's not going to know what to so with herself, we will have to keep a tight ring on her for a minute”.

Lexi's family is excited to be able to do this for her and to see her so happy.

"They were so gracious to make it happen, we've been talking and it probably made her life not just her day it's crazy she will never forget this", Scott tells us.

Shawn's record label and Shawn's bodyguard were misty eyed from their interaction they say it was a magical moment to say the least.
