BIXBY, Okla. -- A Bixby board of education special meeting addressing an alleged sexual assault involving multiple high school football players took place Thursday night.

The meeting went on for more than three hours, but no action was taken by the board at the meeting.

It was the first time the board has addressed the investigation.

A 16-year-old victim claimed he was at school superintendent Kyle Wood's house, when four football players penetrated him with a pool stick.

The board of education released a statement Wednesday, saying "they will see the investigation to a full conclusion, and if appropriate, they will hold individuals accountable for their actions.

Thursday night's meeting was about 24 hours before the school's scheduled 6A-II championship game against Booker T. Washington. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Allan Trimble stadium.
