It was the first time the board has addressed the investigation.
A 16-year-old victim claimed he was at school superintendent Kyle Wood's house, when four football players penetrated him with a pool stick.
The board of education released a statement Wednesday, saying "they will see the investigation to a full conclusion, and if appropriate, they will hold individuals accountable for their actions.
Thursday night's meeting was about 24 hours before the school's scheduled 6A-II championship game against Booker T. Washington. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Allan Trimble stadium.
