TULSA — Bill & Ruth's will be closing its doors after more than 25 years at 15th and Lewis.
The local sandwich shop, which will close on Friday at 3 p.m., will be reopening a new location at 2647 East 15th Street in mid-May.
The location, owned by Samih and Anita Saiymeh, was opened after the family immigrated to the United States in the 1970s.
The location at 15th and Lewis was sold to QuikTrip in 2017.
About a year and a half after receiving the news of the looming eviction, the Saiymeh's are preparing for life at their new location.
"This place is our second home. It's a bittersweet end but we are also excited for what the future holds," Anita Saiymeh said.
