Some Tulsa kids are spending Spring Break on two wheels.

The Bike Club organization is holding a free bike camp this week at Chamberin Park.

Program director Mike Wozniak says it’s a fun way to teach kids about the importance of physical activity.

“We’ve, as you know, lost quite a bit of our time to cell phones and… kind of instilling this activity back into their lives is really important,” Wozniak said.

The camp runs through Thursday, March 21 and is open to fourth-eighth graders each day from noon-4 p.m. It’s free to attend, but space is limited. The club provides lunch and bikes.

Each participant will need to sign consent forms.
