Bethany Police Department confirms Eugene Lothes has been found

BETHANY, Okla. — *Update* - According to a statement released by the Bethany Police Department, Eugene Lothes has been found.

79-year-old Eugene Pearl Lothes has been reported missing, according to the Bethany Police Department.

Lothes was last seen in Bethany on Friday, Dec. 27 at 11:30 a.m., officials said. He was wearing a stocking cap, blue fleece jacket, grey sweats and no shoes.

Lothes drives a silver 2001 Saturn Ion with the Oklahoma license plate numbers BXZ-560, police said. The car has a blue plate frame reading "Alumni Colorado" on the top and "School of Mines" on the bottom.

Officials say Lothes has a proven medical disability and he's supposed to be on medication for Alzheimer's.
