TULSA — You may have noticed a few changes at the Gathering Place park on Riverside in Tulsa.
The footpeddle boats and kayaks are no longer above the pond, and the beach area is closed.
Officials say they removed the boats due to recent storms. The boats will be put back out and the beach will reopen, but it's unclear how soon.
The park's areas closest to the Arkansas River were most heavily impacted by the flooding, including the basketball courts and Riverside trails.
