BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -- Bartlesville police are searching for a woman who they said was a victim in a domestic disturbance incident on Tuesday morning.

Police said on Sept. 4 at 7:42 a.m., they received a domestic disturbance call in an apartment near Choctaw and Fourth Street.

The caller said they had escaped the apartment, where the caller said a boyfriend had been holding a knife on his girlfriend inside.

Officers eventually contacted the boyfriend, who drove to city court after the reported incident.

Officers searched the apartment, but found no one inside. Officers are attempting to locate the girlfriend involved in the incident to determine what exactly happened.
