BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -- Police are trying to find a possible skimming device responsible for stealing credit card information from at least 15 Bartlesville residents.
Police took in 15 reports of money stolen from debit or credit cards over the weekend.
Officers say there's a total of about $15,000 taken from Bartlesville residents.
Police say the victims come from several different banks, and they haven't found a single location where the victims all used their cards.
"Devastating, because I’m not working right now, getting ready to move, so I've got moving expenses, and it would have devastated," said Donna King, a Bartlesville resident who had her credit card information stolen.
Police say the charges pop up as ATM withdrawals. Some have come from Tulsa, Bixby, Broken Arrow, and even Oklahoma City.
