Bartlesville Police confirm no evidence of child abduction from Robinwood Park

*Update* Bartlesville Police have had no reports of a missing child since the incident was reported at Robinwood Park.

Video evidence lead investigators to believe that this was a parent/guardian and child encounter witnessed by a third party.

The Bartlesville Police say there is no evidence that any crime was committed, but would like to thank the public, media, and all witnesses at the park for helping with this case.

According to Bartlesville Police Department, there are reports of a possible child abduction from Robinwood Park.

Around 1:25 p.m. an adult male was seen possibly removing a child from the vehicles driver side back door and carrying them toward the playground.

The vehicle departs the area after possibly putting a child into the vehicle on the driver's side, the child can be heard crying or screaming before being put back in the car.

At this time Bartlesville police are treating this as a possible parent/child situation and are asking the public for help with confirming or refuting the possibility of an abduction.

The vehicle is reported to be a tan or champagne later model Chevy or GMC SUV.

The vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on Beck Drive.

At this time there are no reports of a missing child.

BPD will remain in the area to canvass the neighborhoods in search of more information.
