Bartlesville man chases down car theft suspect

BARTLESVILLE -

A Bartlesville man saw one of his family cars driving off and glass shattered everywhere.

Isaya Vysotsky has a driveway full of cars and they all have busted windows.

His Colonial Estates subdivision is usually quiet, but late Sunday night he noticed something going outside..

Vysotsky jumped in his own truck and chased the thief down.

Bartlesville police found his sister’s Mercedes on the west side of town sitting in an alley.

When Vysotsky got home, he found glass shattered everywhere.

“This is one of my dad’s new trucks. I think the door is still open—that would be some of the glass. They went looking through for everything. I mean nothing really stolen. I think one of the neighbors had an iPad stolen, which is nothing of value compared to the truck, but glass is just everywhere,” said Vysotsky.

Vysotsky said at roughly a dozen cars have been hit around his home.

Police said they’re still looking for suspects connected with the thefts.
