Friday night Bartlesville Police responded to the area of the 700 block of SE Sooner Park Drive for a shooting.
The victim was initially transferred to a local hospital by a private vehicle.
According to the report the victim was later transported to a Tulsa hospital and died a short time after.
After an initial investigation and interviewing witnesses police determined the incident took place inside the residence.
All parties involved knew each other and were currently living in the residence.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for the home and recovered several items of evidence.
The suspect agreed to go with BPD to talk about what happened and is currently in custody.
45-year-old Shawn Saejin Lynch was arrested for First Degree Murder.
The victim was identified as 29-year-old Kolton Joshua Edwards.
Investigators are still working to determine what led up to the shooting which occurred Friday.
