TULSA – Tulsa's Bama Co. announced a brand new project this week that is set to boost McDonald’s all day breakfast.

Bama is going to produce McDonad’s hot cakes at the end of the year as they become an addition to the company’s all day breakfast menu.

Bama reps say they had a bit of a bidding war with other companies and cities to land the $33 million dollar project but at the end of the day, they say McDonald’s trusted the pie makers with their newest addition.

Leaders are now saying that Tulsa is set to reap all the benefits of the all day breakfast addition. Not only will the operation itself bring over 50 jobs to the company, but it will require a brand new building on campus, not to mention other job opportunities the influx of folks will bring.

Longtime worker Tim Lutz says this is only the beginning.

“It's an awesome feeling to be part of the McDonald's family. They treat us very, very well. They're very loyal to us so we try to make everything we possibly can happen for them.”

Construction on the building is slated to start around September, with hot cake production scheduled for December.
