BAFD's Top ISO Rating Could Save You Money

A big milestone for Broken Arrow firefighters as they work to keep people safe and save you money.

The fire department now has a class one ISO rating from the Insurance Services Office.

That means homeowners could see a drop in their insurance prices by possibly one to three percent.

"In the last three to five years, we've added 20 new firefighters and an additional station here in the city," said Chief Jeremy Moore with the Broken Arrow Fire Department.

He says all of that goes into shorter response times.

Only about 350 communities nationwide are rated class one and only four others are in Oklahoma.

You should contact your home insurer after April 1 to see if your premium could drop.
