TULSA - Police say a long-running feud among juveniles is likely the cause of a robbery that happened in west Tulsa early Saturday morning.
At 1 a.m., a call was received by the Tulsa Police Department concerning a robbery at 4700 W. 3rd St. Officers made their way to the scene where they learned that the suspects and victim had been fighting for months and the robbery may have been part of retaliation for an assault.
Because of the ages involved in this crime, the suspects' and victim's names are not being released.
No injuries were reported.
Allegedly, one of the suspects was angry at the victim because the victim had assaulted him in the past. The suspects located the victim at a residence and committed the robbery, according to the police report.
One of the suspects was said to have a firearm and one of the other suspects had a knife, officers say. After threatening the victim and demanding property. the suspects fled on foot from the area, according to police.
Officers say they went to several suspect addresses in the area, but none of the known suspects were located.
