Bacone class of 2001 alumnae host 'Occupy Bacone' as university temporarily suspends operations due to major financial problems.
In a letter to the Board of Trustees, alumnae said they are "willing to fight for the college’s survival and its return to its intended mission of serving Native youth."
The alumnae are asking stakeholders and those who want to safe Bacone to an approved demonstration on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the conclusion of the Bacone graduation ceremonies.
