Baby jaguar welcomed into Tulsa Zoo family as part of the Jaguar Species Survival Plan

TULSA – A Tulsa Zoo family grew by one little addition who was welcomed into the world this week.

A new baby jaguar was born, according to the zoo, on June 29. The birth of the cub was the result of the zoo’s third successful reproduction of the jaguars.

According to the Tulsa Zoo, the jaguar’s birth was in conjunction with the Jaguar Species Survival Plan.
