BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- A woman police say staged her ex-husband's murder to look like a suicide was found guilty Friday night.
A jury found Judith Nix guilty of first degree murder. The jury recommended life in prison with the possibility of parole.
In March of 2016, Nix shot and killed her ex-husband, 69-year-old Kenneth Nix, then staged it to look like a suicide.

Court records show the couple filed for divorce in 2011. Later the same year, Judith filed for a protective order against Kenneth.
In the time leading up to the murder, police responded to three domestic-related calls at the home.
Nix is due back in court for a formal sentencing April 5.
