MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (AP) -- Firefighters say one person was found dead following a house fire in Midwest City.
Firefighter David Richardson told reporters that the fire was reported by a neighbor about 3 a.m. and the fire was brought under control within 20 minutes.
A man was then found dead as firefighters searched the home. Richardson the neighbor tried to wake the victim by knocking on windows, but received no response.
The victim's name and a suspected cause of the fire were not immediately released.
