Attorney general announces charges in fake veteran's charity case

TULSA -- Attorney General Mike Hunter announced charges Thursday in connection to a case involving a fake charity for veterans. 

The charges were filed against a Tulsa man, identified as Jeff McDougal, who officials say scammed hundreds of Oklahomans through the fake charity.

The charges were announced at 10:30 a.m. at the Tulsa VFW post 577. Watch a full video of the news conference above.

McDougal faces 18 felony counts in relation to the case, Hunter said.
