BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- Archie Bradley, Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher and Broken Arrow graduate, has donated $5,000 to the school to go toward state championship rings.

The rings come after the school's football team defeated Jenks 28-20 for its first state title on Nov. 30.

The Broken Arrow school board approved the donation at a meeting on Monday night.

Bradley, 26, was born in Muskogee and has played in the major leagues since 2015.
