TULSA – Crews were called to extinguish an apartment fire near 71st and Memorial Friday morning.
Apartment Fire at 7200 S 87th E Pl. Stonegate Apartments, situation under control, investigator has been called to the scene.

Tulsa Fire Department says the Stonegate Village Apartments erupted in flames inside a storage unit on a third floor balcony Friday morning.
Stan May with the Tulsa Fire Department said initially they thought the fire was caused by an electrical issue but later they were led to believe that it may have been caused by an improperly discarded smoking material.
No injuries were reported.
