TULSA -- Ann's Bakery is spending their last week in business filling final orders and trying to clear off the shelves.

Customers are flooding the bakery on Admiral and Harvard hoping to satisfy their sweet tooth before Ann's closes next week on July 31st.

They will be selling holiday specials to clear the extra material off the shelves, and will also host a sale of some of the memorabilia inside.

One family drove to Tulsa from North Carolina to make sure they had a chance to stop at Ann's. Karen Jacobson moved away from Tulsa years ago and heard that the bakery was closing, so she made it a priority to stop by with her kids on this summer trip.

"I grew up with this I remember my high school science teacher used to come here and buy donuts and things and bring them for a fundraiser in high school and sell them, it’s just always been here," said Jacobson.

The bakery isn't taking specific decorating orders, they say they can only write on the cakes, like "happy birthday".

Ann's Bakery is hosting a farewell celebration after hours next Tuesday on their final day in business which is open to the public.
