TULSA — An animal welfare group plans to announce ways to save the lives of more dogs and cats in animal shelters.

Officials say Common Bonds has established three distinct priories in their effort to increase the shelter save rate to 90 percent.

The priorities include promoting methods to reduce the number of animals entering shelters, increasing community engagement, and improving data collection.

Officials say the speakers will discuss all of the priorities.

Officials say the news conference will be held Tuesday at 3p.m.

Organizers say dogs and cats available for adoption will also be in attendance.
