TULSA, Okla. — The Animal Aid of Tulsa says they just can't catch a break.
The private animal welfare organization posted on its thrift store Facebook page Tuesday that someone cut and stole the copper tubing from their air conditioner from outside of their building over the weekend.
They said money is tight because their store has been closed during the pandemic. Now, it is faced with a $1,400 to $1,500 repair bill so their employees can have cool air conditioning during the summer.
Animal Aid of Tulsa helps pay for surgeries, spay and neuters and medications for pets.
Its online market is still open. If you would like to learn more or donate, visit its website here.
