BROKEN BOW, Okla. — An Oklahoma angler recently set a new state record when he caught a 66-pound smallmouth buffalo fish in Broken Bow.
The 66-pound, three-ounce, fish was caught by Huhgh Newman, of Broken Bow in Broken Bow Lake.
Officials said the fish broke the previous state record by a whopping 22 pounds.
