An Oklahoma angler reeled in a monster catfish at Fort Gibson Lake on Tuesday.
Bernie McBryde of Wagoner hauled in the 82.7-pound blue catfish at Fort Gibson Lake, according to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.
The catfish was eight pounds larger than the previous record-size catfish caught at the lake. It was weighed by ODWC biologists.
McBryde successfully released the fish back into the lake.
