TULSA, Okla. — An Oklahoma mother whose kids were hurt in a police shooting in Hugo is receiving a minivan donation to help her with future doctors' trips.

The mother of four lost her pickup truck in an officer-involved shooting in which three of her young children were hit in the head.

This happened on April 26 in Hugo, Oklahoma near the Texas borderline.

The two police officers who opened fire at the truck, not knowing the kids were inside, are on paid administrative leave. Authorities say they were going after a robbery suspect who was driving the truck with the mother's children inside.

The minivan donation is taking place in Tulsa on Thursday morning.
