TULSA – Deputies were called to patrol the Tulsa County courthouse as a precaution Tuesday after an alleged threat was made.

After investigating, however, the threat was considered “non-credible” and no one was evacuated from the building.

According to the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, a phone call from an unknown presumably male caller was made claiming that the Tulsa County courthouse would be the subject of a terrorist act. When the caller was told that they would need to contact authorities, the person responded saying "We are in danger and we need to leave the building."

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office reports that the witness then told the caller that they were being transferred to emergency 911 and the caller hung up.

Tulsa police bomb squad dogs were also called to scene as a precaution.
