TULSA – The person believed to be the victim in an early morning robbery is now behind bars at the Tulsa County Jail.
The incident started Tuesday morning when a security guard at the Cimarron Apartments reported a man attempting to get into an apartment that, police say, did not belong to him.
Tulsa police say the alleged victim told them someone robbed him of his cash and cellphone at gunpoint.
He gave police a limited description of a suspect wearing a red cap, red shirt and basketball shorts. Officers, however, went through the area and found no one matching the description.
Police later arrested the alleged victim for an outstanding felony warrant that dated back more than 10 years.
