Adley Stump is a country singer and songwriter making national news for a new video... that doesn't involve singing.

Stump posted a video on Youtube title "What We Should ALL Be Doing Right Now!." In the video, she is sporting a blazer and standing in front of fake microphones, and pretends to be updating viewers on what precautions they should be taking during the coronavirus pandemic. Adley's video has been viewed more than six million times on Instagram and YouTube and was featured on NBC's The Today Show.

“It’s been the coolest feeling to kind of just echo what everybody’s thinking and feeling," she said. "And bring humor into such an uncertain time. That’s been my favorite part about it.”

Adley first rose to fame as a member of Team Blake on season 2 of The Voice. Since then, she’s opened for Blake and other stars on tour. Now she’s in Nashville doing what she’s really passionate about, making videos for her Facebook show, “The Adley Show.”

“It’s so cool to have a way that we can all connect in such isolation," she said. "In some ways, you feel more connected to people now more than ever. It’s a little bit more intentional.”

Adley said over the past few years she’s gone from being a country music singer to an entertainer that sings. Something she’s always wanted to do.

“I feel like I’m living my dream," she said. "If I could just keep doing what I’m doing right now every day for the rest of my life. I’d be the happiest person there is.”

As for what’s next for Adley, she said there are some pretty exciting opportunities coming up, but she can’t talk about them just yet.
