TULSA--During street reconstruction on North Mingo Road between East 36th Street and East 46th Street, additional lane closures are needed on East 46th Street, two blocks east and west of Mingo.
Traffic will be limited to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane. These lane closures will be in effect until completion of the project.
Traffic on Mingo Road also is limited to one lane in each direction during the project. This project consists of rebuilding the road and installing a new 12-inch waterline. It includes new pavement, curb and gutter, driveway approaches, sidewalks, handicap ramps and a new traffic signal at the intersection of Mingo Road and 46th Street North.
The City of Tulsa has contracted with Becco Contractors Inc. for this $4,278,943 project, funded by the 2014 Third Penny Sales Tax (Improve Our Tulsa). Completion of the project is scheduled for May 2018.
