TULSA — Actor Dennis Quaid and his band, Dennis Quaid and the Sharks, will be headlining Guthrie Green's "Rock the Block" event Saturday night in downtown Tulsa.
Guthrie Green, located at 111 East M.B. Brady Street, says Rock the Block, from 7-10 p.m., is its first "Rock and Roll Signature Event."
Quaid and his band have been performing since 2000.
The opening band is The Smithereens, who have performed on MTV, Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show.
Local band Golden Ones, featuring lead singer Sarah Dickenson, will also perform at the event.
The event is for all ages and is free to the public.
