A Tulsa man suspected of burglarizing vehicles downtown and at Gathering Place has been arrested, police say.
An officer was searching for a vehicle related to the burglaries on Monday when he spotted it at a QuikTrip on Southwest Boulevard. TPD stopped the car, driven by James Ray Robinson, who had outstanding warrants.
Robinson was placed into custody and the car was searched.
‘We discovered burglary loot and tools inside the vehicle as well as 3 handguns from a nearby apartment," TPD says. "During the investigation, it was learned that multiple reports are still pending approval; linking the person arrested as the suspect for many burglaries, and possible frauds throughout the city."
