The Winnetka Heights Baptist Church is rebuilding after last night's storm caused major damage to its structure.
Part of its roof was torn off, part of it collapsed on top of a pulpit and a tree damaged a building.
There's debris inside the church from where part of the roof collapsed.
This is going to take the restoration company some time to rebuild, but right now, the main concern is securing the top before Friday's rain forecast.
Sunday's services will resume this weekend in the left wing, which was spared by the storm.
This is the second time the church is hit by a storm; a tornado ripped through the area in 1974.
