A suspect is in custody after leading Tulsa Police on a chase across the city.
Officers say they tried to pull over the suspect when the car he was driving came back as stolen. The attempted traffic stop was at 15th Street and Delaware Avenue, but the suspect didn't comply.
Police say during the chase they deployed spike strips, which the suspect avoided and even dodged some of the officers who were pursuing him, nearly missing hitting them.
Eventually, he ran out of gas at 61st Street and Zunis Avenue. Officers say he tried to run away, but he didn't get far.
He was arrested for eluding officers, assault with a deadly weapon and avoiding a roadblock.
