New Tulsa nonprofit to help entrepreneurs

A new nonprofit organization, Business with Vision, is hosting a seminar Thursday night to help people start their own business.

Founders Pablo Aguirre and Santiago Aguilar say they saw a need in Tulsa to help immigrants like themselves open a business and succeed.

Aguilar moved from Mexico 20 years ago and started his own business, River Paint Construction, eight years ago in Tulsa, but he said it wasn't easy.

He had to overcome many challenges during the process, so he now wants to educate others and provide the resources to help them along the way.

Like Aguilar, Aguirre also has a business background. He studied Business Administration at Oklahoma State University. He's the Director of Strategic Planning at Omni Air International.

Thursday night's seminar is free and starts at 6 p.m. It'll be held at Aloft hotel on 6716 South 104th East Ave.
