Posted

A local Tulsa library is preparing to host its first block party to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, which ends on October 15.

Families are welcome to enjoy a night of fun with luchadores, salsa dancing, lowriders, mariachis and vendors.

There will also be an opportunity to meet with award-winning author, Cathy Camper and illustrator Raul Gonzalez, who created the popular "Lowriders in Space" series.

The block party starts at 5 p.m. at the Martin Regional Library on 21st St. and Garnett on Friday, October 12.
