911 call: "We need a hose, it's on fire!"

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — According to Broken Arrow police, Terrence DeFreeze, an alleged drunk driver who caused a trail of damage in a Broken Arrow neighborhood early Monday morning, has been booked into Tulsa County Jail.

DeFreeze was booked on complaints of reckless driving, DUI 2nd degree, driving under suspension, insurance/security verification, and leaving the scene of property damage accident, according to the arrest report.

It incident happened just before 1 a.m. near South Elm Place and West Florence Street.

“Broken Arrow 911,” Dispatcher said.

“Uhm yeah, there’s been a guy hit a vehicle in front of my house, it’s a van it’s my neighbor across the street,” 911 caller said. “The van is on fire.”

“The gentleman in the pick up truck has hit a van that’s parked along our street,” 911 caller said.

“Is he out of the vehicle or is he still in the vehicle?” Dispatcher said.

Police say a Ford pickup truck side-swiped a parked car.

The truck then slammed into a minivan, pushing it over the curb and against a house, damaging an exterior wall.

The people inside were startled, but are fine.

Police say De Freeze blood alcohol level was 1.9, he had minor injuries and was taken into custody.
