44-year-old Bristow woman dies in Creek County crash

CREEK COUNTY, Okla. — A 44-year-old Bristow woman died Tuesday morning after a one-vehicle crash in Creek County.

The crash happened at about 9:30 a.m. on State Highway 16 near 289th West Avenue.

Officials said a 1990 Toyota Camry, driven by Jacqueline Brown, 44, from Bristow, departed the roadway to the right, struck a fence and rolled an unknown number of times.

Brown was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead from massive injuries.

The passenger of the vehicle, a 27-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in stable condition with arm injuries.
