40 rescued greyhounds to go up for adoption

Posted
40 greyhounds seized Saturday will go up for adoption Thursday.

The Humane Society of Tulsa says the owners gave up the dogs.

The owners face charges of animal cruelty and neglect.

The dogs will be available starting at noon Thursday at the Humane Society's emergency facility at 13290 S. 80th E Avenue in Bixby.

The adoption fee is $120, which includes microchipping.

The dogs won't be ready to go to their new homes until next week after they've been spayed or neutered.
