TULSA – Four schools are no longer on modified lockdown after initially being placed on one as police investigated reported shots fired in the area.
Tulsa Public Schools sent a statement saying McKinley, Hamilton, Bell and Tulsa Met were placed on modified lockdown around 10:30 a.m. due to “shots fired in the area.” The modified lockdown was later lifted around 11:50 a.m.
According to TPS, Tulsa police along with Tulsa Campus Police responded.
