TULSA – A toddler is recovering after being stabbed in the chest during a domestic dispute, says Tulsa police.
The 3-year-old boy was caught in the middle of a fight between his parents when his father, Levi Cartwright, 33, threw a knife and struck the boy in the chest.
Tulsa police went on to report that Cartwright claims that the knife was thrown to harm the boy’s mother, Jamie Tillack, 24.
After Cartwright and Tillack’s son was admitted in serious condition, police say, Cartwright was arrested.
Cartwright is now being held on complaint of a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
