3 robbery suspects identified during Oklahoma Highway Patrol traffic stop

Posted

TULSA – Three robbery suspects were captured after a traffic stop led the trooper to connect them to a recent robbery in the area.

The suspects were allegedly loading items into a basket at a Kohl’s located near 71st Street when the store’s loss prevention officer noticed and grabbed another officer to try and stop the suspects.

Police say the loss prevention officers attempted to grab the female suspect and take her into custody. The male suspect then allegedly showed a partially concealed gun and said “Let my sister go or I will kill you.”

After the two left the store, another female suspect appeared and the three of them ran out to a silver Chevy Spark and drove off. Tulsa police put out the information regarding the suspects and the vehicle, alerting authorities in the area.

Not long after leaving the store, Oklahoma Highway Patrol made a felony traffic stop and identified the suspects as the robbery suspects. They were all taken into custody.
