3 hide from Tulsa police in stolen vehicle

TULSA – Three suspects were taken into custody after attempting to evade officers by hiding in a stolen vehicle.

Tulsa police say they were called to 12020 E. 1st Street to investigate reports of possible criminal activity in the area.

They found white Chevy Avalanche parked and soon found three people hiding in the seats.

Officers were able to discover the vehicle was reported stolen and that the suspects had swapped tags from another vehicle.

One of the suspects was in possession of meth, Michael Everett. A suspect found in the back of the vehicle, Kevin Cousins, was wanted for application to revoke suspended license. The driver, Jessica Ewing was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.
