29 new Tulsa firefighters to hit the streets

TULSA — Twenty-nine new firefighters will hit Tulsa's streets on Saturday to help keep you safe.

A group of cadets graduated from the Fire Academy at the Cox Business Center on Thursday.

They were sworn in by Mayor G.T. Bynum and given their badges, marking them official members of the Tulsa Fire Department.

The cadets went through 20 weeks of training to become firefighters.
