TULSA-- The reining regional spelling bee champion, Sai Lakkimsetti, threw out the first pitch at the Tulsa Drillers Souvenir Sunday baseball game this week.
Sai (9) won the Scripps Green Country Regional Spelling Bee which was held at the Tulsa Tech in Owasso in March.

He will be representing Green Country as he competes in the 2018 Scripps National Spelling Bee in the Washington, D.C. area, and broadcast on ESPN channels May 29-31.
