An escaped inmate is back in custody in Muskogee County.
32-year old Markus Perry escaped this morning from the Jess Dunn Correctional Center.
Authorities found him by a nearby river late this afternoon.
Perry was serving two years for sexual abuse of a child under 12.
This is the third inmate to escape from Jess Dunn facility this year alone.

The head of the EPA resigning today.
Scott Pruitt - who served as Oklahoma's Attorney General - turned in his resignation.
In his letter he said that "Unrelenting attacks" have "Taken a sizable toll" on his family.
Pruitt's time at the EPA was plagued by numerous scandals.
He has at least 15 federal ethics inquires - many zeroing in on his spending.

A black bear cub was shot and killed a few miles east of Pryor.
It happened Tuesday night.
A game warden we spoke to says they know who shot the animal, and they are cooperating with investigators.
He also said - while the bear is a protected species - it isn't against the law to defend yourself or someone else.
Investigators are trying to determine if the shooter was acting in self defense - or hunting the bear.

Bad news for Oklahoma kids.
The Sooner State ranks 16th most dangerous for children when it comes to their online activities.
The sobering number comes from "Internet service partners".
