A well-known horse trainer is being remembered tonight by his friends and family.

A memorial is being held for Addison Waddell in Henryetta.

You may remember Waddell was reported missing last month; several days later authorities in Okmulgee County found his body.

Officials say a person has confessed to killing Waddell.

Most of Green Country is back in the light tonight after dealing with a power outage.

More than three thousand in Jenks and Tulsa had to deal with no power for several hours in this heat.

We are told by officials that one of the outages was from an accident. The driver suffered a medical condition around 21st and elm, lost control of the car, and hit a power pole.

According to PSO everyone should have their power back on.

Right now the U-S Army Corps of Engineers say they will step up patrols on Oklahoma lakes following recent drownings.

So far a staggering 11 people have died on lakes since May of this year.

Two of them happened at Lake Eufaula just this week.

The Corps plan to encourage people to use life jackets, which officials say can reduce drownings by 90-percent.
